Compare every source field
Place the D&B result beside the official business registry and platform profile. Check legal suffixes, physical location, postal code and street number. A brand or trade name is not necessarily the contracting entity.
If several records appear, identify the one belonging to the account or facility. Do not request a duplicate to work around old data.

Update D&B first
This tool can find the record but cannot amend it. Submit evidence to D&B and keep the confirmation. Apple says updates can take up to two business days to reach it; other platforms may take longer.
If rejection continues after processing, send platform support the exact error, D&B confirmation and matching legal document. That gives them a reproducible mismatch rather than a generic complaint.
